Richard Shelton Hall, Jr., 89, of Montross, passed away October 25, 2004. He was the widower of Carrie Hall, a World War 11 Army Corp Veteran, an educator for 30 years, a local prominent farmer, and a member of Saint Paul's Episcopal Church, Nomini Grove.
Survivors are his two sons, Richard Shelton Hall, 111 of Stafford, and David F. Hall of Montross; a daughter Elizabeth Gray Hall Thompson of Falmouth; two sisters, Eleanor H. Baker of Fredericksburg, and Anna H. Boyd of Alexandria; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services were held October 28, at Saint Paul's Episcopal Church with interment in the church cemetery with military honors. The Rev. Charles R. Sydnor officiated. Pallbearers were Gary Hutt, John Hutt, Travis Hall, Zachary Hall, Nathan Thompson, and George Claiborne Hall.
