Kermit served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1957 until 1961, and was stationed on Okinawa. He was a lathe operator at Marathon Electric and retired after 30 years of service. Many years ago he also had his own milk route in the town of Stettin that he operated for 10 years.
Survivors include his wife Barbara, Merrill; daughter Heidi; sons Clint, Kevin, Kyle, and Kenyon; and grandchildren Michael, Luke, Hope, Ryan, Bailee, Emma and David. Also surviving are sisters Shirley and Sandra and Beverly ; sisters-in-law Audrey, Eunice, Kathy and Virginia; and brothers-in-law Charles and Ken.
