Funeral service for Mr. A. A. Lineberger, aged 90 years, who died unexpectedly Saturday, December 24, 1938, at his home at Dellrose, was conducted Sunday at the Stewart Funeral Home in Fayetteville, by Eld. McQuiddy, burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.
He was a native of Stanley, North Carolina, and came to Lincol County as a youth with his parents. He was a member of the Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mattie Lou Poarch Lineberger; four daughters, Mrs. W. W. Porter and Miss Inez Lineberger, both of Huntsville, Alabama, Mrs. R. O. Bearden of Fayetteville, and Mrs. J. C. Pottery of Taft; two sons, J. A. Lineberger of Shelbyville, and Cowan W. Lineberger of Fayetteville; two sisters, Mrs. Mattie Hilliard and Mrs. Fannie Fite; and one brother, M. M. Lineberger of Fayetteville.
