Michael M. Lineberger was the son of John David and Anna (Moore) Lineberger. He married Martha M. Watt - 14 Oct 1875 - Lincoln Co., Tennessee.

His Obituary:

Funeral services were held December 17th for Michael M. Lineberger, aged 97 years, at the Wilson Funeral Home at 2 o'clock with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Elders I. C. Pullias and R. A. Largen officiated.

He was a son of the late John and Anna Moore Lineberger and lived in Lincoln County since he was 6 years old. He was a member of the Church of Christ for over 50 years.

He died at the home of his daughter, with whom he lived for a number of years.

He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Roy Warden of Fayetteville, and Mrs. Alvis Bledsoe of Nashville, Tennessee; one son, Dee Lineberger of Columbia, Tennessee; 21 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

His Father's Obituary:

Mr. J. D. Lineberger, aged 77 years, died of the inflamation of old age at the residence of his daughter, Mr. J. M. McKnight, 104 State Street, at 2 o'clock Wednesday morning, October 18, 1916. His course in life had been of the most upright character and won for him the confidence of everyone with whom he was associated. The funeral service at the residence by Rev. J. R. Edwards and Eld. C. E. Woolridge, burial at Rose Hill Cemetery. He is survived by two sons, M. M. Lineberger, of Fayetteville, and A. A. Lineberger, of Harms, and three daughters, Mrs. J. F. Hilliard, of Memphis, Mrs. R. L. Fite, of Yukon, and Mrs. J. N. McKnight, of Fayetteville.

Mrs. Annie Rhinehart Lineberger, wife of Mr. John D. Lineberger, died in Fayetteville Friday night, April 29, 1904, aged 74 years, 11 months, and 1 day. They had lived 57 happy years together. She was a consistent member of the Christian Church and her life was replete with good deeds. Burial at Rose Hill Cemetery.
