Mrs. Dorothy Church

DILLONVALE — Mrs. Dorothy Church, 90, died at 5:15 p.m Thursday in the Martins Ferry Hospital, where she had been patient since Tuesday morning. A Dillonvale resident for 11 years she was the widow of Josia Church who died in 1930.

She was born May 16, 1867, in Calhoon (sic Calhoun) County, W. Va., the daughter of Jake and Margaret Jane Sampson-Starcher.

She leaves one daughter, Mrs. Chalmers McKim of Scotch Ridge Ohio; two sons, William F. Church of Palm Beach, Fla., and Ira C Church of Dillonvale, 12 grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Charles A. Wilson Funeral Home in Dillonvale after 5 p.m. today. Services are scheduled Sunday at 3 p.m. in Wilson's Chapel with William Flagmeier, student minister of Dillonvale Presbyterian Church and the Rev. Mr. Carl Gerber of Dillonvale Mission officiating. Burial will be in Scotch Ridge Cemetery, Scotch Ridge, Ohio.
