Edward Dobson was born in County Monaghan, Ireland 1870, which would have made him 51 years at death, however his death record states he was 53. He came to Scotland in the late 1880's and later married Mary Adams. Mary died in 1902 and is buried in Bothwellpark Cemetery and Edward passed away in Hamilton in 1921. He is buried in common ground in this cemetery which is located at the bottom of the cemetery.
