The daughter of Samuel B & Sarah (Trowbridge) Bartow, Mrs. Crocker was a well-known philanthropist in the city of Fitchburg.

She attended the Brooklyn Heights seminary, and married Alvah Crocker Oct 14, 1880.

During the first World War, she organized and chaired the surgical dressing committee. She also served as a vice-president of the Old Ladies' Home and treasurer of missions at Christ church.
