Maggie Ailene Cox Blackerby, widow of Lawrence P. Blackerby, went to be with the Lord on Monday November 5, 2012.
Mrs. Blackerby was born August 23, 1919 in Moonville to the late John Morgan Cox, Sr. and Fannie Irene Hicks Cox. She retired from the Macshore Classic Company. She was a member of Reedy Fork Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Jean Wilson and husband "Bud", and Elizabeth Owings; six grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was predeceased by a son, Jerry Blackerby; a brother, Morgan Cox, Jr.; three sisters, Elizabeth Beetham, Sara Cox, and Sible Waddell; and a grandson, William Mike Wilson.
