Norman is survived by one daughter, Robin Horton and husband, Greg of Irondale, Missouri; two sons, Norman Francis Barton, Jr. of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Brian Bennett Barton of Irondale, Missouri; three sisters, Sue Davis and husband, Paul Dean of Farmington, Missouri, Linda Kay Harwell and husband, Donnie of Washington, Brenda May Hardy and husband, Bob of Irondale, Missouri; four brothers, Leo Barton and wife, Joan of Irondale, Missouri, Marvin "Joe" Barton and wife, Kathleen of Irondale, Missouri, Gary Barton and wife, Laura of Valle Mines, Missouri, Lynn "Poncho" Barton of St. Louis, Missouri; two grandchildren, Jeremiah Dale Horton of Irondale, Missouri and Whitney Gail Horton of Irondale, Missouri; four great-grandchildren, Jacob Lee Horton, Joseph Dale Horton, Lane Lyons and Wyatt Halbook; sisters-in-law, Jean Shelton and husband, John of House Springs, Missouri, Mona Thurman of Cadet, Missouri; brother-in-law, Bob Bennett and wife, Mary of Eureka, Missouri; also surviving are other relatives and many friends. In addition to his parents, Norman was preceded in death by his loving wife, Barbara Barton, one son, Alan Joseph Barton, two brothers, Randall "Butch" Barton, Billy Ray Barton, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Virginia and Grady Bennett.
Norman was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish and go turkey and coon hunting. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and will be greatly missed.
