CITY SUMMARY.
The remains of Mrs. Mary Yeager [sic], who died Thursday night, will be buried this morning at 10 o'clock. Funeral services will be held at the residence of her brother, Mr. A.J. McDonald, at 1892 Locust street.

Mary McDonald was the daughter of Stephen McDonald (1793-1851) and Susannah Black (1803-1891). She married Dr. Edward Tinsley Yager 29 December 1859 in Chillicothe, Livingston County, Missouri. She had two children, Edward Lewis Yager b. 1861, and Marietta Jane Yager b. 1863. In 1865 she moved to Virginia City, Montana. When she became ill with consumption, she moved to Kansas City and stayed with her mother. Dr. E.T. Yager is buried in Oberon, Benson County, North Dakota.
