Mrs. Angie M. Carvel, 73, died at 3:30 a.m. Thursday, May 5, 1977 at Massena Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient for the past two weeks.
Mrs. Carvel was born December 22, 1903 in Massena the daughter of Philip and Julia Boyeou Fregoe. She married Clifford J. Carvel August 5, 1924. He operated an insurance business until he retired, selling the business to their son, John.
She attended Massena schools.
Surviving is her husband; one son, John P. Carvel, Massena; and one daughter, Mrs. Gerard (M. Patricia) Huberth, Rochester; three sisters, Mrs. Henry (Florence) Besaw; Mrs. Irene Langlois, both of Massena; and Mrs. Kathryn Snell, Potsdam; two brothers, Charles and Dennis, both of Massena; four grandchildren and one great grandchild; many nieces and nephews.
She was a communicant of Sacred Heart parish and a member of the League of Sacred Heart.
