Son of James & Martha (TINSLEY) ANDERSON. Married Emma CARDEN. Father of at least six children.

"Jerry M. ANDERSON, 71, retired farmer, died yesterday at his home at Upatoi, Ga. He had been sick for two months. // Mr. ANDERSON, a member of the Church of the Holy Family in Columbus, had lived in Upatoi for 30 years, having moved there from Chattahoochee county, where he was born Nov. 7, 1878. He was a son of the late James A. [sic] and Martha TENSLEY ANDERSON. // Besides his widow, Mrs. Emma ANDERSON, survivors include three sons, Lewis and Frank ANDERSON, Upatoi, and T. _. ANDERSON, Midland; three daughters, Mrs. Gilbert ANDING, Jacksonville, Mrs. W. M. TANNER, Nashville, Tenn., and Mrs. H. L. BLACKBURN of Germany; eight grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. // Funeral will be held tomorrow at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Holy Family. The Rev. Herman J. DEIMEL, pastor, will conduct the service. Burial will be in Johnson cemetery near Upatoi. // Pallbearers will be, B. B. PRESTON, Hines PRESTON and W. H. PRESTON, and Ed JOHNSON, Marvin ANDERSON, and B. F. BAGLEY. Honorary pallbearers will be Pat DIFEBBRIO, F. E. TAFF, Jim GIBSON, F. E. TURNER, R. J. BOYD, L. D. GILBERT, Lennie WILSON, H. C. Burial was in the Johnson cemetery near Upatoi. // Rosary for Mr. ANDERSON was said Monday at 8 p.m. at Britton and Dobbs chapel. // Mr. ANDERSON died Sunday at his home."
