Services celebrating the life of Annie L. Durand will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 29, 2012, at the Chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville, with Brother Kevin Simmons officiating. Burial will be at Restland Memorial Gardens, Pollock, under the direction of Hixson Brothers, Pineville.

The family asks that visitation be observed Friday, December 28, 2012, at Hixson Brothers, Pineville, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

Mrs. Annie, 88, of Pollock was born in Echo on December 13, 1924, passed from this life on Tuesday, December 25, 2012, at Woods Haven Nursing Care and Rehabilitation Center.

She was a life member of The Order of Eastern Star and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother that will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, E. D. Durand; son, David E. Durand; daughter, Barbara E. Whited; grandson, Dustin Durand; grandson in law, Gaylon Ledington; parents, Sydney and Winnis Dauzat; brother, Jack Dauzat; sisters, Eloise Barron, Amaline Geoff, and Mary Alice Dauzat.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Nelda Luttrull and Juanita Oliphant; grandchildren, Lisa Durand, Terry Luttrull (Penny), Tony Luttrull, Reggie Whited, John David Durand (Kelli), Sherry Ledington, Kristan Delaney ( David) and Heather Lake; great grandchildren, Conner Delaney, Lauren Luttrull, Brittany Luttrull, Cory Luttrull, Madison Ledington, Makenzie Ledington, Jacob Giordano, Sophie Giordano, Hadie Durand; two special grandchildren who loved Maw Maw and Paw Paw Wrangler, Jason Nugent and Lacey Nugent.

Pallbearers honored to serve are Tony Luttrull, Terry Luttrull, Cory Luttrull, John David Durand, Kaleb Martin, Kyle Martin, Jason Nugent and Paul Phillips; honorary pallbearers will be Roy Squires and David Delaney.

The family would like to send a special Thank You to all at Woodshaven Nursing Home and to Compassionate Hospice for the love and care shown to Mrs. Annie.
