Ch., Mary Gildersleeve, dau. of Capt. Obadiah Gildersleeve and Mary Dinge, bp. Dec. 25, 1753 at Huntington, Long Island, NY. The date of her death has not been found. They had 8 children of record at Hartland, Conn., the eldest child being son Samuel Dimick Fuller, whose middle name led Lafayette W. Case [Fuller Gen.] to claim that the wife of Samuel Fuller was a Mary Dimock. This child was actually named for his maternal grandfather.
