OBITUARY FROM THE PORT ARTHUR NEWS: Lewis C. Griner
Mr. Lewis C. Griner, 90, 4647 13th St., died Friday at 9:40 a.m. at St. Mary's Hospital after an illness. He was a native of Holley Springs and had lived in Port Arthur for 62 years. He was a member of North End Baptist Church was a World War I Army Veteran. Services will be at 3 p.m. today at the Nunnelly-Stanley-Levingston Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. A graveside service is scheduled if weather permits. Survivors include his wife, Gertrude Griner, Port Arthur; one daughter, Mrs. Norma Spivey, Bridge City; one son, Irving Stockholm, Liberty; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
