MRS. OPAL ADDISON WILSON, 71, of Silver Shoals Road, Toccoa, GA, died Thursday at Emory University Hospital, Atlanta.
Born in Oglethorpe County, GA, she was a daughter of the late Jefferson T. and Lillie Mae Purcell Addison. She was the widow of Boyd H. Wilson. She was a member of Broad River Baptist Church, the senior adult Sunday school class and served as pianist and Sunday school teacher for a number of years. She was a member of the Georgia Historical Society.
Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Hoyt (Frances) Jameson and Mrs. Calvin (Ann) Peace of Toccoa; sisters, Mrs. Ruveal Mosley, Mrs. Sue Steele and Mrs. Geneva Payne, all of Toccoa; brothers, Winfred, Paul and Marvin Addison of Toccoa, Floyd Addison of Lancaster, SC; 3 grandchildren.
Services at 3 pm Sunday at Hillcrest Chapel, Acree-Davis Funeral Home by Rev. Robert Randall, Rev. Garnett Jameson, Rev. James Downs and Rev. Ernest Ivester. Burial in Broad River Baptist Church cemetery.
