The remains of Mr. Floyd Shadrack who died at his home in Philadelphia, PA., were brought to Norfolk on March 29, accompanied by his wife, two daughters, and two sisters. The funeral was held at the home of his sister, Mrs. Ophelia Braxton. Interment took place in Calvary Cemetery. Mr. Shadrock is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mabel Shadrack, three daughters, Mrs. Helen Parker and Misses Margurite and Evelyn Shadrack of Philadelphia, his mother, Mrs. Priscilla Shadrack of Norfolk,and seven sisters and one brother. The sisters are: Ophelia Braxton of Norfolk; Mrs. Willie Reynolds of Baltimore, MD., Mrs. Allie Slaughter, Mrs. Lelia Bradley, Mrs. Clara Rodgers, Mrs. Janie Harris, Mrs. Gladys Barthman and Mrs. Thomas Shadrack of New York. Rev. R. H. Bowling conducted the funeral services.
