Aurora M. Griego, age 87, passed away at her home in Albuquerque on Friday, January 30, 2004. Aurora was the daughter of Cipriano and Guadulupe Lucero. Aurora was born in Cerrillos, NM on March 30, 1916. Aurora was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Griego, sisters Flora and Lucy and brothers Cipriano and Osmundo. Aurora is survived by her daughters, Evangeline Rivera and her husband, Juan and Barbara Griego Sundby, her brothers, Joe A., Abad E. and Arnold Lucero, her step-brother and sister, Fred and Frances Ortiz, her grandchildren Yvonne Heinze and her husband, Rob, Steve Rivera and his wife, Marie, James Rivera and his wife, Ina, Jerold Rivera and his wife, Debra, Renee Sundby and Shane Sundby and great-grandchildren, Christopher Rivera and his wife, Tara, David Miller, Cody Rivera, Chaya Rivera and Damien Sundby. Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 4, 2004 at 8:30 a.m. at the Our Lady of the Annunciation Catholic Church, 2532 Vermont NE. Rosary will be at 3:00 p.m. at 4518 Leo Court NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109. A graveside service will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery at Paseo and Wyoming following the mass.
