THOMAS - Clifford W., 82, Westmont, has gone to be with the Lord on Sept. 6, 2006, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Nov. 19, 1923, in Johnstown, son of the late Blair E. and Hazel Mae (Adams) Thomas. Preceded in death by brothers, Carl, Glenn, Allan, Wayne and Walter, and sister, Louella Stoner. Survived by wife, the former Betty Lou Ash, and these children, David L., married to the former Donna Reed, Jennerstown; Terry L., married to the former Karen Muck, Akron, N.Y.; and Barry J., married to the former Donna Davis, Johnstown. Also survived by 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and brother, Richard Thomas, Johnstown. A member of Albright United Methodist Church and West End Lions Club. A retired car shop employee for Bethlehem Steel Corp. Clifford was a World War II veteran for the U.S. Navy. Friends are invited to a memorial service at 2 p.m. Sunday at Albright United Methodist Church, the Rev. William Griffith, the Rev. Ruth Ann Moore and the Rev. Marjorie Keifer officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to Albright United Methodist Church. Arrangements in charge of Hindman Funeral Homes and Crematory, 146 Chandler Ave.
