Mrs. W.W. Brunton died at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Heaps, just west of the Fifth ward on Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock. She had been ill but three days and death was caused from a severe attack of typhoid pneumonia. Besides her parents and two brothers James and Robert, a husband and five year old son survive. Mrs. Brunton, nee Miss Margaret Heaps, was born in Scotland May 28, 1876. When a girl her parents came to this country and settled in Boonsboro in 1886. There she attended the public schools and on January 9, 1894, was united in marriage to William Brunton. The funeral was held on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Gospel Tabernacle Rev J.C.Crawford officiating. Burial took place in Linwood.
