Former manufacturing company worker Eddy Wayne Brown, 55, of Cottage Grove died of heart failure Monday, June 6, 2011, at Saint Thomas Hospital in Nashville.
His wife, Linda Lowe Brown, survives. They were married on May 29, 1999.
His funeral will be at 2 PM Wednesday at Ridgeway Funeral Home.
Kenneth Robert and Mike Waddey will officiate. Burial will follow in Walker Cemetery.
Chosen as pallbearers are Carl Schoubye, Todd McCain, Josh Bowden, Albert Wade, Jody Wimberly and Troy Younger.
Honorary pallbearers will be David Lampkins, Roger Nance, Mike Turner, Mike Baker and Kelvin Evans.
Visitation will be 4-8 PM today and after 10 AM Wednesday.
Born in Cottage Grove on Oct. 21, 1955, he was the son of Dorothy Crowder Brown of Cottage Grove and the late Baxter Brown.
Brown formerly worked for SGL Carbon Group in Hickman, Ky. He was a member of Cottage Grove Baptist Church and served in the National Guard. His wife said he loved to hunt, fish and spend time outdoors.
He also leaves three daughters: Yvonne (Carl) Schoubye of Paris, Gelena (Todd) McCain of Gleason and D'anna (Ritchie) Faulkner of Tennessee; two sisters: Carolyn Brown Mathis of Paris and Bonnie (Eldon) Wimberly of Camden; six grandchildren, including Brea Schoubye and Aislynn Schoubye, both of Paris, and Mai McCain of Gleason.
