Born in Duryea, he was the son of the late Joseph and Theophilia Zygewski Kosloski.
He attended Duryea schools and served in the U.S. Air Force in the European Theatre during World War II.
He lived in Newark and Nutley, N.J. for 40 years.
Prior to his retirement, he was employed by General Electric, Newark, and served as a volunteer policeman in Nutley.
He has lived in Plains Township for the past 15 years.
He taught welding at the Wilkes-Barre Area Vocational Technical School for several years.
He was a member of St. Casimir's Church, Pittston.
He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Adelle Yonasavage in 1995; brothers, Chester and Basil; and a sister, Sophie Balchun.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Joel (Theresa) Wasserstein, Sterling, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday from the Kizis-Lokuta Funeral Home, 134 Church St., Pittston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Casimir's Church, Pittston.
Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
