MRS. MARTSOLF DIES AT AGE 79
Mrs. Charles L. Martsolf, 79, of 219 S. Elder St., a resident of Mishawaka for
the last 50 years, died at 8:15 pm Wednesday in the Osteopathic Hospital, South
Bend. She had been ill for the last two years. Mrs. Martsolf was born in
Donaldson, Ind., from where she moved to Mishawaka. As Effie V. Freese she
married Martsolf in South Bend, May 1, 1899. Surviving other than her husband
are four sons, Guy O, Kenneth U, and George S. Martsolf, of Mishawaka, and Glen
Martsolf, of Phoenix, Ariz; two daughters Mrs. Edna Seegert, of Mishawaka and
Mrs. Florence Hupp, of Rochester, Mich, 22 grandchildren and 33 great
grandchildren. Friends may call at the Bubb Chapel after 7 pm today. Source: The
