James Turkle, a citizen of Clay township, well known all over the county, died Tuesday afternoon after an illness of about three weeks. The funeral took place at the Lutheran church on Thursday, the sermon being preached by Rev. J.M.G. Hursh. The Masons, of which the deceased was a member, took charge of the funeral and attended in a body. Mr. Turkle was seventy-one years old and leaves a family.
