OBITUARY: The Times, Shreveport LA, 17 Dec 2012
Funeral services for Mrs. Chloe Crumpton, 96, of Ringgold, LA will be held Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at 2:00 pm in Ringgold First United Pentecostal Church with Rev. Milton Vining and Rev. M. D. Owens officiating. Interment will follow in Rocky Mount Cemetery in Ringgold, LA under the direction of Rockett Funeral Home in Ringgold, LA. Visitation will be Monday, December 17, 2012 from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at First United Pentecostal Church in Ringgold, LA.
Mrs. Crumpton was a faithful charter member of First United Pentecostal Church in Ringgold, LA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James T. and Addie Nettles; husband of 74 years, Leo Crumpton; grandson, Rickey Crumpton; son-in-law, Jimmy Martinius; a great great grandson; and five brothers.
Left to cherish her memory are her son and daughter-in-law, Willard and Mae Crumpton of Ringgold, LA; daughters, Lavonia and her husband, Drew Carter of Ringgold, LA and Willie Martinius of Ringgold, LA; 4 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren, 3 step great grandchildren and a number of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Randall Carter, Scott Carter, Nolan Carter, Tommy Humphrey, Brandon Rowell, and Matt Pitman.
