Emory Deckard
Died of typhoid fever on Tuesday at 6 p. m., at the home of his parents in Buck's Valley, having been ill four weeks. He was a son of N. C. Deckard and was about 22 years of age. He was single and is survived by his parents, brother, Luther of Fifth street, this place, and sisters, Edna and Carrie, at home. He was a member of Newport Castle, No. 300, K. G. E., which will attend the funeral in a body to-morrow (Friday) morning. Services will be held at the house at 10 o'clock. The interment will be in Newport cemetery.
