Funeral services for Mrs. Nancy Jane Deckard, 81, of 1558 Vernon Street, Harrisburg, who died Thursday night at her home were Sunday afternoon at her home with the Rev. T. V. Milller, pastor of the Newport Church of God, officiating. Burial was in the Newport Cemetery.
Mrs. Deckard was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Acker, her mother being a Pontius. She was the widow of Calvin Deckard.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. William S. Pipes, and Miss Carrie Deckard, of Harrisburg, a son Lewis D. Deckard, of Newport; two sisters Mrs. Fianna Burd, near Duncannon, and Mrs. David Roush of Highspire, and a brother, J. M. Acker of Montgomery's Ferry.
