Leonore Andrist was the daughter of Charles and Emily Miller Andrist, born in Paris, France where her father was working.

Mrs. Johnson, 61, died Monday in a local hospital.

Memorial service for Mrs. Leonore Andrist Johnson of 2019 NE 19th Ave. will be Thursday, December 17th, 1964 2 pm at the First Unitarian Church. She will be buried in Lakewood Cemetery, Minneapolis, Minnesota near her parents, Charles and Emily Andrist.

A native of Paris, France, Mrs. Johnson taught French at Washington High School for the lst 12 years. She taught in high schools in Minneapolis and Omaha in earlier years. In Washington High she was a counselor and advisor for the American Field Service Student Exchange Program.

She was a member of the Unitarian Church. She is survived by widower, James P.; a daughter, Karen Andrist of Portland and son, James Johnson of Portland, and a sister Madeleine Andrist Zimmerman of Laconia, New Hampshire.

The family requests that any memorial contributions be made to the Leonore Johnson Fund American Field Service Fund at Washington High School.
