"Estella Sebolt Buchanan, aged 69, of Toddsville, died July 9, in the Bailey Nursing Home at Oneonta, after an illness of two years. She was born August 14, 1882 in the Town of Hartwick, a daughter of Henry and Tamer (Schermerhorn) Sebolt. She was married to George Buchanan on August 10, 1902 in Hartwick. She was a member of the Cooperstown Baptist church. Mrs. Buchanan leaves her husband, three sons, James Buchanan, Waterville, Lewis Buchanan, Hartwick, and George Buchanan; two daughters, Miss Dorothy Buchanan, and Mrs. Leo Lincourt, both of Cooperstown; 11 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. The funeral was held at 2 p. m. Saturday from the Ingalls Funeral Home, Cooperstown, the Rev. Theodore L. Conklin, Baptist pastor, officiating. Burial was in Toddsville Cemetery."
