Mrs. Tressie Wilks
Mrs. Tressie B. Wilks, 74, life-long resident of this city, died Monday, October 7, 1968 after a long illness. She was born in Caruthersville December 23, 1893, the daughter of W.W. and Jennie Brown Bridgwood. She was the widow of Dustin Wilks, who was killed in a railroad accident October 7, 1922.
Services were held Wednesday morning at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Rev. William Stanton saying the funeral mass. Burial was in Little Prairie Cemetery with Dean Funeral Home Service.
She leaves a daughter Mrs. L.A. (Tressie B.) Prost, five Grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
