Sophenia married William B. Wright before 1864 when their first know child was born. They had six known children before Sophenia died in 1885.

1880 Looxahoma, Tate, Mississippi Census:
Wm. B. Wright, Sophronia, William, Roland, Chitioym, and twins Ira and Ora. One young child listed on the 1870 Census is not listed in 1880 and has evidently died.

In "Abstracts of Tate County Will Book 1", Sophenia Wright made her will on 13 Dec 1884. Filed 11 Feb 1885. Executor is husband, William B. Wright. Children not mentioned. Sister Josephine Garrott listed. The filing date points to a most likely death date of Jan 1885.

There is clear evidence of numerous unmarked graves in this abandoned family cemetery, which is known as Garrott-Wright Cemetery locally. The cemetery was named after Sophenia's father, James Garrott and her husband, William B. Wright. Both men owned numerous farms at and very near this cemetery.

It appears almost certain that Sophenia was buried in a now unmarked grave in this cemetery where her husband was much later buried in a marked grave. Prior to Sophenia's death, two of her sisters, Samantha Scott and Elizabeth Johnson were buried in this cemetery in currently marked graves.
