Eva Odell Angus Bowling, 92, of Lovingston, died Friday, December 7, 2012 at Lovingston Health Care Center. Born in Amherst County (Lowesville), April 21, 1920, she was a daughter of the late John Beaureguarde Angus and Mary Pearl Campbell Angus. Eva had been a caregiver for many years and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She is survived by sons, Cleveland Beaureguarde Bowling of Altamonte Springs, FL and Benjamin Franklin Bowling (Marta) of Jacksonville, FL; daughter, Dorothy Odell Bowling Clements (Fred) of Tye River; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Benjamin Lafayette Bowling; son, Gerald E. Bowling; daughter, Sylvia Ann Bowling Davis; 6 brothers and 6 sisters. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at Byrum-Parr Funeral Home by Pastor Dave Peters with burial to follow in Fort Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at Byrum-Parr Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Lovingston Health Care Center, 393 Front Street, Lovingston, VA 22949.
