Per her death certificate found on Ancestry.com: she was a daughter of A. C. Crosby, born in Colleton Co., S. C., and Beatrice Hart, born in Lexington Co., S. C. She died at 1021 Church St. of ileocolitis contributed by bronchopneumonia. The informant was A. C. Crosby of Columbia, S. C.

Found in The State 11 August 1934: Last rites for Margaret Crosby, eight-month-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Crosby, 1021 Church street, will be conducted at 4 o'clock this afternoon from the residence by the Rev. A. B. Ferguson, pastor of Whaley Street Methodist church. Interment will follow in Olympia cemetery. The infant died at the residence Friday morning after an illness of two days. Many friends join with the family in mourning her passing. She is survived b her parents; her twin sister, Margaret Crosby; a brother, Julian Crosby, and a half-brother, Bruce Hart, all of Columbia. Her grandfather, T. H. Gable, Columbia, also survives.
