Per her death certificate found on Ancestry.com: she was a daughter of A. C. Crosby, born in Walterboro, S. C., and Beatrice hart, born in Lexington Co., S. C. She died at Columbia Hospital of pnuemococci Staphlococci (hard to read next word) of throat and toxemia. The informant was A. C. Crosby of Cayce, S. C.

Found in The State 17 March !943: Margaret Faye Crosby, 9, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Crosby of Cayce, died at the Columbia hospital at 9:05 last night after an illness of several weeks. She was a member of the second grade in the Cayce elementary school. Besides her parents, she is survived by two brothers, Julian Crosby and Hughie Crosby, and one half-brother, Bruce hart, all of Cayce; two aunts, Mrs. Lina Belle Hart of Columbia and Mrs. Annie Beach of Charleston; two uncles, C. W. Crosby and J. O. Crosby of Columbia.
