Daughter of Edmund de Mortimer, Earl of March and Phillipe, daughter of Lionel of Antwerp and grand daughter of King Edward III.

Wife of Sir John de Hastings, Earl of Pembroke, who died Dec 1389.

Secondly, second wife of Sir Richard FitzAlan, Lord Arundel, married 15 August 1390 without the King's licence, and were fined 500 marks. Richard would be arrested 12 July 1397 for treason against King Richard II, and executed 21 Sept 1397.

Phillipa would remarry after April 1398 to Thomas Poyings, Lord St John.

Phillipa died at Halnaker, Sussex and was buried at Boxgrove, Sussex.
