Alma Louise Lozano, 79, died Dec. 7, 2012, in McAlester. Born Dec. 20, 1932, in Wilburton, she was the daughter of Joner A. Bevans and Ethel Mae Hoggett. She lived in the Hartshorne area her entire life. She married Tomas (Tommie) Lozano on June 11,1952 in Van Buren, Ark. They had five children. She worked her entire life as an electronics assembler at Oklahoma Aerotronics Inc. where she was union president for a time, and at Rockwell. She retired from Boeing. She was a mother and a grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family, animals and reading. She also raised her grandson Seth Nichter, who lived with her until her death. Survivors include her children and their spouses, Doug Lozano, of Houston; Tommie Louise Harve, of Hartshorne; Bettie Harris and Sam Mattioda, of Hartshorne; David Lozano, of Gowen; and Angie Lozano and Joseph Dooley, of Hartshorne. And, grandchildren, Seth Nichter, Rachel Yost, Amber Wokaty, Arlie Girdner II, Erik Harris, Cindi Lozano, Tomas Lozano and Brianne Day; great-grandchildren, Joseph and Henry Yost, Sonya Burch, Colton, Jailee and Grayson Girdner, Paige Harris, and Zaxton Warren; brothers and sisters, Winnie Stone, of McAlester, Vonnie Bednar, of Hartshorne, and Dale Bevans, of Antioch, Calif. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joner and Ethel Bevans; her brothers, Merlin, Joner and Tommy Bevans; and her sister, Helen Marie Bevans. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in Hartshorne, officiated by the Rev. Lonnie Clunn. Interment will follow at Holy Rosary Cemetery in Hartshorne. Services are under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in McAlester. Pallbearers are Eddie Earp, Greg Wagoner, Terry Rich, Jimmy Hentz, George Maynard and Brian Kline. Honorary pallbearers are Glen Johnson, Arlie Girdner I, Bobby Harris, and Tim Harvey.
