She was born May 8, 1921 in the Pineville area and was a daughter of the late William Russell and Agnes Letitia Rodeffer Rodgers.
She was a member of the Mount Olive Brethren Church where she had served as a deaconess. She was employed as a seamstress by Sancar and Home-style industries.
On July 3, 1940 she married Harold Paul "Jim" Blosser, who died Aug 3, 1962.
She survived by two daughters, June Elaine Blosser McInturuff of Albuquerque, N.M. and Carold Blosser Turner of Nampa, Idaho; one sister, Mrs. Charles (Agnes Letitia) Raines of Keezletown; and two brothers, William R Rodgers, Jr. of Penn Laird and Everette C Rodgers of McGaheysville. Four grandchildren and six great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. in the Mount Olive Brethren Church in Pineville by the Rev. James E. Atherton III. Burial will be at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens near Harrisonburg.
The Blosser family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Kyger-Pence Funeral Home near McGaheysville.
