Clarence Marlowe, 65, a retired textile worker, died Saturday.
Funeral services will be held at 3 pm today at Elliott Sons Chapel, with the Rev. Houston Anglin officiating. Burial will be at Westview Cemetery.
A native of commerce, Georgia, he resided at 1224 Green Street.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Doshia Lewis Marlowe; one son, James marlowe of Grand Rapids, Mich. and one step daughter, Mrs. Freda Simpson of Augusta.
Pallbearers will be Gilbert Sharpless, Bill Brown and Albert Thompson.
