Agnes Willeford, 86, of Victoria, formerly of Ganado, went home to be with the Lord on September 1, 2009. Funeral services are set for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 5 at Heritage Funeral Home of Memory Gardens Chapel. Pastor B.J. Hall will officiate. There will be no visitation.
Mrs. Willeford was born July 6, 1923 Farrar, Texas to the late W.T. & Minnie (Little) Ainsworth. She is the mother of three children and a former member of First Baptist Church in Ganado. Mrs. Willeford and her husband, Jack, were married for over 64 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Donna Sparks; sisters, Minnie Peck, Essie Lawless, Emma Francis, Mabel Rundell; brothers, Earl, Ralph, Marion, and Richard Ainsworth.
She is survived by her husband, Jack Willeford of Victoria; daughter, Karen Kohutek and husband, Ken of Victoria; son, Wayne Willeford and wife, Nancy of Goliad; sister, Laura Gary and husband, J.T. of Rockdale; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers are Jeff Willeford, Donovan Sparks, Duane Sparks, Cameron Kohutek, Kevin Lewis, K.B. Bunton.
