Virginia was born July 15, 1915, to Joe and Necolasita (Swabecker) Trujillo in Ft. Sumner, NM. She married John L. Casaus October 21, 1946. She and her late husband enjoyed camping at the lake together. Virginia was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. She enjoyed reading cooking, going to church, and especially spending time with her family.
Survivors include her four daughters, Pat Mathis of Carson, City, NV, Theresa (James) Ward of Clovis, NM, Sandy Romero (Mike Lopez) of Pasco, WA, and Barbara (Tom) Rogers of Riverside, CA; two sons, Richard (Patrice) Casaus of San Antonio, TX, and Jimmy Casaus (Janie Lopez) of Clovis, NM; a sister, Frances Hand of Hunington Beach, CA; 14 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Necolasita; husband, John; a daughter, Linda Casaus; a grandson, Loren Ward; a son, Edward Casaus; and 12 brothers and sisters.
