David J. Wentz, of Hanover, departed this life December 23, in New Oxford.
He was the son of the late John F. and Cora (Kump) Wentz.
Mr. Wentz retired from the D.E. Winebrenner Canning Company after 30 years of service. He was also the caretaker for the Hanover Water Company for eight years.
He was the husband of Ethel (Deardoff) Wentz, who entered into eternal rest November 11, 1982, and is survived by three sons, Larry D. Wentz of Hanover, Terry L. Wentz of Port Matilda, PA, and Darryl L. Wentz of Dillsburg; five grandchildren; one sister, Mazie Becker of Hanover; and one brother, Burnell Wentz of Hanover.
