Alberto Arzola, Sr., 79, of Bayside, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 8, 2012. He was born April 23, 1932 to Margarito and Lucia Jaramillo Arzola in Bayside.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Alejandra H. Arzola; sister, San Juana Vega of Bayside; 8 sons, Alberto Arzola Jr. and wife Toni of Bayside, Margarito Arzola and wife Carmen of Bayside, Jorge Arzola and wife MaKaduta of Las Truchas, N.M., Henry Arzola and wife Corena of Bayside, Juan Ruben Arzola and wife Verna of Corpus Christi, Jose Luis Arzola and wife Michelle of Pearland, Arnulfo Arzola of Bayside, and Cornelio Arzola and wife Rolinda of Corpus Christi; 4 daughters, Maria Lopez and husband R.T. of Woodsboro, Natalia Martinez and husband Martin of Mirando City, Diana Gonzales and husband Joe of Bayside, and Lorena Dyche and husband James of Bayside; forty-nine grandchildren; sixty-seven great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Francisco Arzola.
Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 12, 2012, at Moore Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be Friday, Jan. 13, 2012, at 10 a.m. at Moore Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Old St. Mary's Cemetery in Bayside.
