DeLora H. Young, loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully on December 12, 1994 after a 12 year battle with cancer.

Born May 31, 1942 in Woodland, Utah to Vern and Ruth Naomi Winterton Huff. Married Gerald Edwin Young of Oakley, Utah on December 27, 1963. DeLora supported their rodeo and ranching lifestyle, helping as secretary and timer, as well as other responsibilities. DeLora has served countless hours in the community and church. In 1971, she directed the first Fourth of July musical program presented by the local townspeople; she continued to direct the program until 1991.

Member of the LDS Church, where she served in the Primary, Young Women's, ward chorister, and Relief Society. She enjoyed visiting the temple with family and friends.

She enjoyed bowling, womens softball, traveling and spending time with her family. She was loved by all who knew her and touched many lives with her kindness and compassion for others. She will be greatly missed by all.

Survived by husband, Gerald E. Young; three sons and one daughter, Stanley J. (Valerie) Page, Oakley; Jenny Lynn (Stanley) Bowen, Hoytsville; Elder Brannon G. Young, serving an LDS mission in Spain; Rustin H. Young, Oakley; six grandchildren, Casey, Tiffany, Jessica, Daniel, Kaydee, and Kevin. Parents, Vern and Ruth Huff, Woodland; sister, Bonita Atkinson, Woodland. Preceded in death by brother, Jimmy Huff, son, Lance E. Young; husband, Stanley Gail Page.

The family would like to thank Dr. James Cecil and staff at Holy Cross for their loving care they have shown to DeLora.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, 12 noon, in the Kamas Stake Center, Marion, Utah, where friends may call Wednesday, 6 -8 p.m. and Thursday, one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Wanship Cemetery.. Arranged by Crandall Funeral Home, Kamas.
