MUNDAY - Joseph Carl Booe, 86, died recently at his home.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today in Johnson Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. William Sterling officiating. A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Munday First United Methodist Church, directed by McCauley-Smith Funeral Home.
Mr. Booe was born in Bells and moved to Knox County in 1921 from Grayson County. He was a farmer. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and was the widower of Nila Mae Roden Booe, whom he married in 1937 in Munday.
Survivors include one daughter, Carla Vaughn of Carrollton; one son, Jackie Booe of Lubbock; three sisters, Hazel Roden of Seymour, and Gladys Hunter and Mary Frances Stewart, both of Munday; one brother, J.B. Booe of Munday; and four grandchildren.
