Vigil for Venita Picicci, 97, will be today at 7 p.m. at Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home, with visitation from 6 to 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Francis Xavior Roman Catholic Church. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Mrs. Picicci, who was born in Orient, Wash., died Thursday. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, her vegetable and flower garden, crocheting and music. She was a devout Catholic.

She was preceded in death by her husbands Frank Malito and Joseph Picicci.

Survivors include a daughter; five sons; three sisters; 18 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren.

Married Frank Malito in 1923.
They had 2 children together.

Frank died in 1930.
