ARTESIAN - Funeral services for Mrs. Alben (Caroline) Stratman. 84, will be Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Charles Catholic Church at Artesian. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery at Mitchell under the direction of Will Funeral Chapel. The body will lie in state at the church Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. with a rosary at 7:30 p.m. at the, church Tuesday.
Mrs. Stratman died July 28 at her home. She was born in Menominee, Neb. Jan. 13, 1891 to Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Koch and married Alben Stratman Jan. 20.1919 at Menominee. She was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church and the Catholic Altar Society at Artesian.
Survivors include two sons, Edmund, Sioux Falls and Clarence, Artesian; Frieda Stratman and Melania Stratman. Artesian; and Sister Armella Stratman, Mitchell; and a brother, Adolph Koch, Fordyce. Neb.
She was preceded in death by her husband and a son.
