Nathaniel "Nate" Hollon of Crawfordsville passed away Monday at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis. He was 32.
Nate was a huge Colts fan. He was loved by his friends and family. He did construction work and painting. He attended Southmont High School. A friendly and giving person, he donated eight organs to help others.
Born Oct. 31, 1980, in Crawfordsville, he was the son of Gene Hollon and Diane Deere Hart. He married Amber Mathews Hollon. She survives.
Additional survivors include his mother and step-father, Ray and Diane Hart of Crawfordsville; father Gene Hollon of Fort Wayne; sisters, Kendra Hollon and Raenette Hart, both of Crawfordsville; brothers, Jon and Jason Hollon of Warsaw, and Jeff Hollon of Iowa; step-sons, Jason and Jacob Perry; grandmother Mary McClamroch; grandparents, Raymond and Carol Deere as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Carolyn Deere.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Burkhart Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Indian Creek Hill Cemetery, along S.R. 47 South. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
