Mrs. Kate McDaniels of 1471 Interstate Avenue, passed away at her home after an illness of one year at the age of 80 years. Mrs. McDaniels is survived by one son, Frank A. McDaniels of Portland, two sisters, Mrs. John Brooks, Blooming Prairie, Minnesota, Mrs. J. B. Mason, Los Angeles, California; one brother W. M. Ferrington also of Blooming Prairie, Minnesota. Mrs. McDaniels was a resident of Portland for many years having lived in N. Albina district at 1253 Minnesota Avenue for twenty five tears.
