Wayne spent decades passionately and meticulously chronicling the genealogy of countless families. There are no obituaries available for him, but he deserves to have his story told as lovingly as he told the stories of thousands of people here on Find A Grave. If you are a family member or friend of Wayne, please message me and I'll transfer this memorial to you, as well as those of his parents and you can work on his bio.

Until then, here's Wayne in his own words:

"There's no place like home. Grew up in the Air Force. My dad was stationed at Fairchild, then he got transferred to McClellan AFB in North Highlands [California]. We moved back to Spokane while my dad was in Vietnam, and he retired out of Fairchild in '73. I spent a few summers here, since my mom's family had lived in the area for over 70 years. I moved twice and always came back, for there is no place like home. Winters are hard on me, because I was born with arthritis in every joint in my body. But I bear the pain to live in this beautiful city."
