~~ Beloved Uncle ~~
James was born in Sherman Texas. When he was 12 years old his parents moved to California. Uncle Jim met my Aunt Anna Mae Dickens, and they married in 1948.
They had three children, Ken, Annetta and Greg.
Uncle Jim worked for the Anaheim Fire Department in California and retired as Fire Captain. He was with the Anaheim Fire Department for 23 years. He then moved to Kentucky, for several years but missed the life style of the California ways. He and my aunt moved to Arizona, to be near his brother in a small town.
Uncle Jim was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease three years ago. He was in stage three, when he died. He was a happy person, always laughing at my aunt over something. They were so close, best friends. James Mitchell 84 years old passed away November 27, 2012 at 3:00 a.m. in Cottonwood, Yavapai County, Arizona. Cremation will be November 30, 2012. He is survived by his wife Anna Mae Dickens Mitchell, two sons and one daughter. He also is survived by several granchildren, nieces and nephews. Arrangements by : Arizona Wakelin Bradshaw Chapel
